About
MY STORY
I was the 5 year old kid that organized the candy display while mom paid for groceries.
I’m Nicole and I’ve always had an innate inclination to organize. With a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior, 8+ years of experience as a UX/Product Designer in tech, and completion of the Marie Kondo consultant course, all of my interests and professional endeavors have led me to Analog Organizing.
WHY ANALOG ORGANIZING?
While I’ve lived many career lifetimes, I fell in love with the design process as a UX/Product Designer. During my 9 to 5, I’d apply design thinking to digital websites, apps, and online products and realized that those methods spilled over into my personal life. When problem solving for personal things like rearranging my closet or even helping a friend make an important decision, I’d pull out the Post-it notes and turn jumbled thoughts into a visual, tangible, actionable plan.
This is what Analog Organizing is to me:
Applying the design thinking process, no longer in digital spaces, but to physical and mental spaces and things.
